I can take no credit for the materials except the eyes. The metal was from the LiveDB. All the screws are geometry.

Modeled in MOI3D and imported into Octane 1.27 Standalone. Used placement nodes to place all the instances.

That's exactly what I was wondering. I'm a Blender user so I love seeing stuff like this using the plug-in. I'm going to be doing my first animation using the Blender / Octane combo so seeing these are encouraging.

Don't know if this has been reported yet, but when I render with a large bloom / glare with Alpha background enabled, with or without a background image, the glare lines show up over the model but not over the background. When I then go to composite in Photoshop, the glare lines are only over where ...

I also use Blender's video editor. It not only allows me to see the image sequences but I can also do some effects and compositing.
