Hi everyone,
I haven't had much time to use octane lately and daily jobs are taking too much memory for my gpu at the office. Therefore I haven't followed latest octane's development. Did the render passes get added earlier already ? Or are we really having a 2.0 without the most basic feature ?

Re: Nvidia Maxwell
My original point had actually nothing to do with mac pro guys .. I know ATI got a similar technology which will, according to my readings, be part of the playstation 4 coming out soon. I only refer to the next architecture of Nvidia cards here, which states that graphic cards to be released in 2014 ...

Render Passes
Hi everyone,
we are currently testing different engines in the office in this time. And, we seriously consider Octane render to fit into our pipeline. Despite being a really fast engine, it also produces very good quality compared to other renderers on the market. You can definitely touch the light ...

Also, beta != trial. The idea is to spot bugs, not to find out if the product will satisfy your needs.

Re: WE NEED AMD ATI GPU SUPPORT
The problem with your bench is that you compare nvidia openCL vs ati openCL. And as far as I know, nvidia cards are way slower than ati cards on openCL softwares. But cuda is way faster than openCL and a lot of softwares just don't or didn't base their lines of code on an archaic openCL. Maybe ...

Re: addaroom by Lars Frank Nielsen
Yes it is the inspiration, it is in the title ^^, if you google lars frank nielsen you'll find out it is the author. I love this minimalistic scandinavian design a lot. And I clearly thought about a dusk shot, but I wanted to keep the sea side feel in pictures. But I may try to go back to it and do ...

Re: marvelous designer
Ok, it is actually way better !
But if I can add something. You would probably gain a better mood by reducing the bump of the wall, and making the light warmer from the lamp, and decreasing the power of your ambiant light and making it colder, maybe 8 or 9K. What is the temperature of the light in ...

Ok, here are exactly the same pictures but with a lens correction filter applied to get the verticals back to vertical. It is definitely better.

Re: addaroom by Lars Frank Nielsen
Yes good point for the vertical lines, I made me the comment and I didn't correct it. But its especially visible because I have a pretty wide angle as it gave me more dynamism. I'll try to correct the perspective though !
