Hi Guys,

i want to make several pieces of one single texture shiny and others diffuse. How can i achieve this using just one texture?
I think a good way is to use material mix but i don't know how to show to octane which parts he has to make glossy.

:shock: what is this thing? Sorry besides that this bike is ugly it's not rendered well. The shading looks really fake.

Thank you guys. So wouldn't you recommend to use PMC or pathtracing for a render like this? I used pmc because
put over the screen a plane with a glass shader for the reflection.

The screen is just a texture. You're right LCD artifacts would make it look much better but i don't know how to ...

Hey Guys,

i am creating currently a smartphone and try to get a good looking screen shader. What could be a good way to make a
simple screen texture shiny glow and glossy? using blackbody and apply a texture to it?

No i didn't use any. I also deleted a few last elemets but the error still appears.
