Anyone knows why I have a gigantic xyz axis widget?
screen.jpg
It's the first time it happens in blender, it's on all the views, it's only the blender-octane and there doesn't seem to be way to scale it down, is there?
No idea ... but it can be changed: options->interface and then upper right ...

Re: OctaneRender™ for Blender 1.30 - 3.2 beta Win [CURRENT]
Hi,
I can confirm there is an issue with transparency in a rendered image.
I appears that if you select just one GPU, the image renders as expected, however with two GPU's there its like one GPU is contributing nothing but transparency, making the image partially transparent.

Re: OctaneRender™ for Blender 1.20.1 - 1.1 beta
I think I found a bug.
If I set up my camera with a camera shift of .3 and go to the preview render view, the view does not look the same as blender 3d viewport. If I want the preview render to look the same, I have to double the value to .6. However, when the final render is done, this looks ...

Re: Image splitting up and going wierd...
It works OK on another machine which has a Geforce 9800 card for display, and like this a 460 for rendering with the same OS, same Nvidia driver, although not enough system RAM for the complete scene.
I'm sure I've seen this on the forum a long while ago, but never had the problem myself, until now ...

Image splitting up and going wierd...
I just returned to Octane, been away for a while.
Tried to render out an old project, that rendered fine before (can't remember which version, about 6 months ago...). At 2000 pixels width or more, the image goes wierd, and splits into random sections.
Posted about it earlier today, with image, but ...

Dear Matej / Lionel,
Just been looking deeper into the node thing. I now understand what you mean. There's too much flexibility in the node system to duplicate all this in blender...
I also realised I've missed out a bit here. The nodes are indeed very powerful! Thanks for this, I've been using ...

Re: New Feature Suggestion...
I agree, we all work differently...
One thing I like to do, is to open up the basic scene in Octane, start tweaking (just the settings which are available through the bledner exporter). Then when they're looking really good, it'd be nice to be able to save back so this stage doesn't need to be ...

Re: New Feature Suggestion...
Its interesting, but I've really not gotten into the whole node thing.... I should really!
My only thought is that if you have most of the material settings set up before you start, i.e. basic inputs for diff spec and opacity, plus textures, then tweaking in Octane is all that's needed, however I ...

New Feature Suggestion...
Dear Blender users (especially Lionel!)
Just a thought perhaps Lionel might be able to help, I would but I can't code at all...
Problem:
One of the bigest problems I have with Octane / Blender Workflow is that changing materials is possible in Blender, but easier in Octane. However, once you've ...

Re: Power Tools from 2.49 to 2.5x (HELP)
looks like waiting for them paid off. We got a little way into it ourselves, but they've released their own now anyway, official and supported.
