Re: will new GI Direct Lighting allow for pass exports?
Wow. Instancing will be ill, that's one thing which will be explosive for your platform, seriously. Can't wait to be able to go out to 32bit source, too. It's a core functionality that would remove the need to create a animation/keyframe system in Octane. Is this functionality possible to ...

Re: Processing Octanerender support, including *.obj export
Hey! That's really cool! Have you tried any iterations with audio or dynamically generated geometry? Or, their particle system and boids?

ME109vsP51 - Octane Sketch of an engagement
This was all rendered as 2K - 2560x1080. Was looking at anamorphic sizing and this fits with RED and is bigger than Panavision.
Starts with check down of materials and lighting, camera.
Work scene up a little with mountains and p51.

Will that include transferring the camera information from Octane in a common format like .chan for use in 3d app, Nuke and other camera tracking programs?

Re: most wanted features
1) Output 32bit color TIF, EXR, HDR
2) Export a camera's setup back to 3d Program from Octane.
3) From Image Export Button include the camera reference and all settings as XML. That way if you need to perfectly recreate an existing look, you can in seconds versus loading a new .ocs.
