Thanks for the very fast response. It of course worked! Now I feel slightly silly!

Problem with Plugin License

When I upgraded the standalone licenses that I have i was told that the plugin licenses would be upgraded for free. That never happened, and now the licenses don't work for version 2.03 at all. Please advise

Re: Problem with daylight Tag

I have a problem with the daylight tag. Changing the time or date does not have an effect. It will just stay with the lighting that was when you created the tag. Is there a work around?

be sure it's enabled
What do you mean? Where?
I just created a sunlight tag in the Octane dialog. The sky was ...

Realflow Foot medical Segmentation

This is a GPU Rendering of a CT Reconstruction of a patients foot based on CT images. Software used: Cinema 4d, X-particles, Realflow. As you can see it is possible to three dimensionally segment bone, vessels and muscles. The rendering is done in Octane render.

Vertex map shading

Does anybody know how to render vertex maps in Octane for C4D without prebaking. The reason is that I want to import meshes from Real flow that have vertex maps for the particles in the mesh. This way we can simulate fluids with different colours mixing. Baking takes along time as the UVs need to be ...

Actually, it consits of two interwoven meshes with a mixed glossy/specular material.

Medical Segmentation (X-Particles, Realflow, Octane, C4D)

This is an unusual post. This is an example of a method I am working on to use Realflow, Octane, and C4D to create meshes of patients organs and pathologies based on computer tomography data of the patient. In this first example I used Realflow to mesh a particle cloud I created from an optical ...

X-particles Based Medical Segmentation and OCTANE Render

GPU Rendering (CUDA) of Semi-automated CT Reconstruction of Lower Face

This is an example of a method I am working on to automatically segment and render computer tomography data of real patients. The data was segmented using particle cloud generation with the x-particle plug-in inside Cinema 4D ...
