Surreal motion poem: And Then I Vanish
Hi there, long time no see, forums!
I just finished my recent animation, all done with C4D & Octane.
God, even if Octane is blazing fast. this project took me way to long to complete.
Some more stuff within the Behance project: https://www.behance.net/gallery/26278191/And-Then-I-Vanish

Re: 3D noise supported?
Thanks for your answer, aoktar.
Sadly, RidgetFractal and turbulence texture are not what I'm looking for.
Their appearance differs to much from Cranal and Ober, and baking those to texture will cause a loss of it's 3D nature.
Anyway, thanks. Hope this will make it on your to-do list?

3D noise supported?
Hi there,
are those fancy 3D Noise shaders supported yet? You know, Cranal, Ober, Luka, Hama, etc...
I would need their space to be set to "world". (Not UV or Object)
Does Octane for C4D know how to handle that?
Thanks for any quick answer!
Regards,
Cornel

Bloom test animation with satellite/sun.
Almost a selfexplaining topic here,
this weekend I gave the bloom another chance. Turned out to be lots of fun to play with.
I´m afraid I forgot where I got the satellite model from.
Texture blackbody emissions & Directlighting create some cool pitch black shadows, with no bouncy GI going nuts ...

Re: Post-production: the bleach bypass
nice.
Here's my alternate method, that works without the overlay blending mode
and therefore offers more control of the bleach bypass's strength.
1. Duplicate the image layer.
2. Desaturate the duplicated one. (shortcut: shift + ctrl + u)
3. Apply contrast to duplicated layer.
