Hi,
It would be amazing if Octane's parameter values could be controlled from an external program or midi controller - i.e an objects size or position could be driven in real time by an external data stream driving it's parameters - say a code stream from processing, an arduino or midi controller ...

Re: Two viewports rendering different camera views at same?
Thanks Thomas - that sounds brilliant! We're working on something to render a scene from multiple viewpoints simultaneously. It shouldn't be too long anymore.

Re: Two viewports rendering different camera views at same?
Roubal, thanks for your reply.
No, it's not for stereoscopic rendering - it's just for a specific project - I need to render two viewpoints ( in real time) of the same scene and record the output of both cameras - I was going to use Fraps for the screen recording - it sounds from your reply like ...

Two viewports rendering different camera views at same?
Hi,
Is there a way I can setup two card's to render the same scene simultaneously but from different camera positions, so that if I update one scene,
the scene in the other viewport follows suit.
A bit like having the Left and Perspective Camera viewports active in Max/Maya - but with full path ...

Feature Request - set max min limits on sliders
Hi,
Please can you add an option to set the limits for all the many sliders that abound in Octane. For instance if I'm adjusting the camera translation I'd like to set the limits for my X translate to say +_ 10 rather than +_ 100000 - this should be user definable for each and every slider in ...

Re: another motion blur animation test (chess set scene)
Radiance,
Can you give us some early indication of the format that the scripts need to be?
Maybe post an example camera script and an object script.
Cheers,
Sam

Re: Beta 2 Crashes at startup
My Beta 2 crashing issues are slightly different...
Loaded Beta 2 and the Cuda 3 dev drivers (197.13) a few days ago - it was all working great under Windows 7 64. Then I installed Silo 2.2 and now Beta 2 crashes immediately on startup. I've un-installed Silo but that hasn't changed things. I've ...
