Re: License Activation Please

Our biggest concern is the weekend's nearing in 4 or so office hours over there. Its now saturday here in New Zealand.

We'd love to contribute and enjoy our stay here with the beta crew (and we endeavouor to do so), however the delay has dwindled All prospect of us enjoying 'Anything'.

But ...

Google says it's: 12:02 pm Friday (PST), Google never lies. ^_^ (edit: hahaha, never saw the PM, so confused by time-zones.)

Re: License Activation Please

Hello,

I am waiting for my activation too, but as it stands - I think their business hours ended for today about half an hour ago.
My purchase was made before their business day started - I hope it'll come through soon.

Re: Head rendering

Ah, thanks for the info. ^_^

Too bad, I would have loved to do full displacement attempt with Octane, it's a brilliant program.
I bought my licence today - waiting for business hours to start so I can start experimenting!
I will post some work soon - good luck with your model.

Re: Head rendering

Nice!, I also use Mudbox. :)

You've got a sweet texture there!

I was wondering now that I saw your post - is there still no way of displacing meshes inside of Octane?
( I read some other posts whilst doing a search, but they weren't current. )
If not, is the work-flow just to use a Bump and/or ...

Re: Need Advice for my render...

Audi A4/A6:
- needs smooth
- reflection on wind shield?
- headlights

The House:
- more detail, different approach to modelling (corners are too sharp)
- more textures/better use of texture.
- windows? reflections in glass?
- ground (texture variation or bump, it is too flat.)

GMC Truck:
- The ...
