Re: Fetching Attributes for the Black Body Emission
I found a solution - MIX materials by color vertex attribute works just fine and it is a reasonably efficient way to procedurally control the intensity of lights

Re: Fetching Attributes for the Black Body Emission
yes, but I can't truly control the intensity of the light cause when I plug my attribute to the distribution pin if the value of my attribute is 0 it still keeps sort of the dim light in the scene despite the light sources are not visible, see the attachment. And if I plug that into the efficiency ...

Fetching Attributes for the Black Body Emission
Is that possible to read point/vertex/primitive attributes to drive "power" parameter in the blackbody emissive shader? I tried everything in all combinations possible with no success. Help me, please

Bump cut-off at a certain distance
Octane disables bump effect at a certain distance from the origin, approximately 1500 units. Is it possible to keep the bump on the whole geometry instead without being tied up to the distance from the origin?

Triangles on a large scale meshes
I'm just beginning using the Octane and I faced some problems - triangles appear across the surface of the mesh that becomes even more obvious on a large-scale scene. Even if I make the mesh denser, let's say 100 times denser, the triangles don't go anywhere - they only become smaller. The same ...

Re: Displacement gaps
Thank you so much for your reply, it helps but there are still some gaps. Is there anything that can fuse them?

Displacement gaps
The displacement creates the gaps between the UV seams whereas I want them to be fused. Is there anything that helps get this around?
