Network-Based Rendering - Textures/Models/Data sent to remote systems for splitting up the processing. If you can split over cores on a local system, a remote system can be done, too. There will be the obvious delays to transfer model and textures initially, but returning pixel solutions should ...

The Modo exporter dev seems to be gone, and so far I am getting a bit better results with just an OBJ export for a basic scene - their view was to do the work inside of octane, while I feel myself the renderer should be more transparent unless you want to get fancy...

Well, now I don't feel so alone buying the wrong thing. Already sent an email and hopefully it can be sorted out. In my case I'm not even a 3DS user!
