Hello friends, I've had a chance to run the chess scene on a 16" m1x 32core with 64GB ram. PT version completes in 25 seconds.

I'm surprised this isn't faster. With the M1 coming in at 52 seconds (based on previous benchmarks posted in this thread) and Apple claiming the M1 Max is 4 times faster ...

You have to run C4d under rosetta for Octane to work at the moment unfortunately.

Any idea when we'll be able to use Octane in C4D on an M1 Mac natively without having to open C4d under rosetta ?
