Is it possible to deactivate octane for 701 and reactivate it in 801 and has there been any testing with 801 yet?

I would love to talk to some insiders at foundry to see what challenges or limitations that the sdk might have that would prevent Octane from becoming a viable rendering plugin. Though Modo's rendering engine is extremely nice, Octane does some things that are just stellar.

This render is breath taking. Simply gorgeous and perhaps the most realistic render I've ever seen. Octane is definitely a competitor to vray.

That's very beautiful. In only 10 minutes, no too bad.

Though modo's render engine is very nice but there are some subtle differences in Octane's daylight engine that make seem more realistic. I hope we can see a plug in soon.
