Has that fantisic feel to it (Character wise), I think you need so more lighting, feels like you have one big spot light smashed front on.
The trick is one key light, you don't want to over pack your scene with them, I see it's night outside though have you tried lighting the wall behind the ...

Re: Beta 2.2 RC1: Maya plugin testing thread
It's 150mb :/
Not sure if I said before, but I seem to be getting a bug where after [Save As] over the .ocs file, it does not keep the colour valuies on the mesh. I usally pop them up to 1.000, makes the object gray, though everytime I save it it will go back to black [0].

Closes for everyframe rendered?
Low graphics card? Ram?
Closes on any mesh? High / Low poly?

I'll try that when I get home. I wish I knew this awhile ago, would have saved me 3 dud of waiting
Cheers for that, I'll give you a heads up if it works.

Re: Beta 2.2 RC1: Maya plugin testing thread
I seem to be having lots of problems with a turntable render I'm doing. I'm not sure if it's a glitch but octane is shitting itself, I'm using 100 percent RAM, opening this file in octane via the plugin for maya. I'm not sure why, it's seems to be taking forever? There a max tri / poly limit? It is ...

Re: Beta 2.2 RC1: Maya plugin testing thread
Hi baz,
Just like to ask with this [export smoothing] function, does it take the whole smoothed mesh? I seem to have to smooth the living god out of the mesh to actually get it to not how the polys in the mesh. Octane renders you can see every detail, though seeing poly with a hard edge around them ...
