Re: Black Friday bundle 2025?
Hi,
The process is the same as for past year.
You need to cancel the auto renewal and buy a new BF license and use the "append" function when purchasing a new license, which will ask you if you want to merge new purchase with an existing license.
Note that you have till January 31, 2026 to ...

Re: RTX 5080/5090
If they work with the current OctaneBench, you will likely see the test results there when they become available.

RTX 5080/5090
So RTX 5000 series has been revealed today. Do we have any info regarding what to expect in terms of Octane performance? I am pretty curious, if the speedup will be in-line with previous generations (2080Ti to 3090 to 4090), therefore almost 2x?

By clicking "View Info" next to the license on the Licenses Subscription page, you will see the actual expiration date.
Kind regards,

Re: Otoy Octane Black Friday 2024 bundle deal?
Just purchased the BF deal of a year's subscription.
Buried somewhere in the Otoy/Octane pages I read that for existing subscriptions (I had 6 months left) subscribers should contact support to not lose their current remaining subscription and have it added to the newly purchase BF deal. Can you ...

Re: Question about material conversion and octane proxies.
Hi Timmaigh!,
To better understand what you're referring to regarding the conversion, it would be helpful to review the original material.

Question about material conversion and octane proxies.
Hello there,
i recently got some foliage models to use for my archviz renders, in 3Dsmax format, set up with Vray materials. So i needed to convert the materials, which i did with the built-in max plugin convertor. I would then save these models as a new file, to still keep the vray-rigged version ...
