Thank you guys for the feedback and sorry for the late reply.

I had to stick with VRay on this, there was no time for additional research...

It's always like this, I really want to do projects with Octane, but there's always, always something missing that messes up the pipeline.

I'm not surprised ...

Hi Paride,

Thanks I'm familiar with these, that's not what I meant. Please take a look at the attached screenshot.

I can only get Octane to output the same type of normals.

But what about e.g. world/object space?

How to render camera normals vectors?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to render world/object normals like I do with the VRaySamplerInfo render element.

Does anyone know how can I do this with Octane in 3DSMax? I see the tangent normals/vertex normals et cetera render elements for Octane, but none of them give me the correct output.

Congratulations on the deal with JangaFX! Their software is just incredible!

I already tried an export last month from their beta as OpenVDB and rendered it in Octane, it's already a breeze!

Also, can't wait for LiquiGen in 2021, I guess that's a farewell to RealFlow and other non-realtime day ...

Denoiser stops render: bug still active?

Hi everyone,

After rendering a couple of seconds, I get a "GPU failure" and the log says:

OctaneRender 4.01.1 (4010100)
denoiserThread0 : Not enough free memory to run the denoiser. Required memory 338.17 MB

Is there a way to circumvent this issue? My system has more than enough memory and with ...

Can I render *.OKX videos with ORC to play on Oculus Go?

Hi everyone, as far as I can tell the ORBX Media Player on the Oculus can only play formats (png/okx/orbx) that contain stereo cubemaps.

I would like to render my own cubemap videos, and I've read somewhere on this forum that's only possible with ORC through an OKX export.
