I have a new system with a 5090, but octane is giving me the error: device 1: failed to find a CUDA binary matching compute model 12.0
is there anything I need to do to make it work or is octane not working with the 50 series cards yet?

it must not be in my case - I am using driver 551.23 - I will try 552.22 and see how it goes - but this problem came up and was noted as fixed a number of versions ago - and it seemed like it was fixed for sometime - I will test out the driver - thank you.

I posted this on discord as well - I have been fighting this issue forever - I use the pass groups feature in Modo, where I create a pass group, then create multiple passes to store variations of a rendering - hitting the apply button while octane is rendering causes modo to crash instantly ...

thats exactly what I want - it seems when you drag in the image you get the additional nodes and I was thinking there was a way around this - but I guess the backspace key is the only way?

I have been following Funk's advice and using modo 15.1 to save presets - if I create a material, add textures, add octane override, then put all of that into another group (that is important) and save it as a preset, it works perfectly. the textures load and it lands directly into the material I ...

attached is a video - not sure if this is ok to upload - basically if its a preset made with the octane button it has this problem, if I make the preset with the "modo" workflow it does not.

I've noticed that material presets created by using the "save as preset" always hop out - or never go into the group I drop them on. presets I make through the typical modo approach don't do this. is this just me?
