Re: Artefacts in light reflexions

Thanks, unfortunately that doesn't help. Setting hot pixel to 0.35 has no effect at all und redicing the exposure makes the image just darker without changing anything at the artefacts.

Any other ideas? I think it's not a post problem.

Thanks

Artefacts in light reflexions

Hi,

I have setup a city night scene with wet asphalt (coming from motion squared car paint lib, slightly modified in spectular strength)). The reflexions are very nice except of those of some bright lights (like car headlights and police lights). I tried to reduce the specular of the asphalt, but ...

Missing option "Use denoised beauty pass"

Hi,

just have updated to 2020-R3. I want to render passes, so I don't want the beauty to be denoised. Where is this option gone?

I'm also wondering what the equivalent buffer type to float(tonemapped) is. HDR?

Thank you.

Re: Morph Camera

Thanks. Looks like its a bit easier. In Xpresso you can fetch the Focus Distance parameter directly from the Morph Camera and send it to the Octane camera tag (attached to the Morph Camera).

Morph Camera

Hi,

where do I have to attached the Octane camera tag, when I use a morph camera? The cameras to blend have different focal depths, the second one uses a target object. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Live Viewer vs Picture Viewer

Thanks Beppe! Delecting the unused render setting sections did the trick. I'm surprised, that unchecked render options have that much effect. Now my picture viewer and live viewer output is almost identical.

Re: Live Viewer vs Picture Viewer

I have the same problem. Render Buffer Type is set to Float (tonemapped), the liveviewer setting is set to HDR tonemapped. Any ideas?
