okay,
i see that i have to purchase an additional max licence but currently the price for standalone AND max plugin is the same price i paid for the standalone only without the max plugin a year ago.please tell me there is a reduced price for early adopters.

i purchases standalone about a year ago i'll search emails for instructions. what about max version. do i have to purchase that also?

have not downloaded or installed octane yet. is the procedure listed somewhere? do i also get the 3dmax version? i have the latest version of max.

i am just putting together my octane box. i have a evga gfx580 3 gb and a evga gfx 560 2gb. what is the best way to deal with the driver issues? oh the 560 will have monitors attached.

any info out there about the performance of one of these over say a gtx 480? they are around 1.5k at the moment. could be a good option. It has 4gb of vram.

how limiting are these 1 gb cards in reality? i'm not thrilled with the manufacturers of the 2 gb cards availible eg pallit,zoltec,gainward. no A tier players yet.
