Where does the relationship with Autodesk leave Rhino users?
I have been hoping for an official plugin for Rhino.
I'm guessing this will never happen now.

Does anyone know how the Virtu MVP feature will affect octane.
I think Virtu allows you to switch between integrated graphics and discrete graphics without moving the cable, but I don't know if that would mess with octane.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried using the onboard graphics of the ivybridge chips to run their displays while using a single GPU for rendering in Octane?

The faster card can have its clock speed reduced to that of the slower card with no rendering speed loss

WDDM 1.1 makes using multiple drivers possible. Not saying it will work, but many people say Quadro and GeForce is not possible on the same system and it is.

Not exactly the same but it might help. I'm using a 4000 and a 460.
If you can watch the gpu usage with a monitoring program you will see the quadro running at max ~95-98% at stock clock (475MHz) and the GTX card will be running much lower like ~50-60% usage.
