Finally had some trouble with PC and had to reinstall all. So went for 3.0

Re: New card...Octane 1.55 wont work
Update: I upgraded my license to Octane 2 and all is well.
I guess Octane 1 Max plugin is not compatible with the newer cards

New card...Octane 1.55 wont work
I just fried my GTX 580 and bought myself a GTX 970.
And now I cant get Octane 1.55 to work again. It seems that I cannot make the GPU active in the 'GPU Config' panel. Ticking the box and pressing Apply seems to have no effect.
Help please!

Re: Rendered Floor Plans
So anyway, I collected some furniture from previous jobs, applied some basic materials and ended up doing it in 3d. rendered with Octane for a couple of minutes.

Re: Rendered Floor Plans
Yeah I've used 3d models before. But I need to do a whole bunch of these and was hoping to speed things up.

Rendered Floor Plans
Can anyone suggest some software that facilitates the creation of attractive rendered floor plans for residential use?
The various web options I have seen (including Autodesk Homestyleronly produce very flat results. I am looking for something with shadow, some life.
Thanks

GTX580 3Gb : where can I get one?
I've had a EVA GTX580 3gb GPU for well over a year now. I always wanted to get two or even three and figured I would when they get cheaper.
Well I thought that time has come but after a quick look online and locally, I not only cant find any available, but they seem to be still very expensive ...
