At the moment I'm testing Redshift to see If that could be a replacement for Octane X. My first impressions are not very good. Octane is so much more intuitive. I guess I'll stick to Octane on my Intel Mac and 6900XT as long as possible. let's see what kind of Mac Pro Apple will be releasing ...

I finally upgrades my Intel iMac Pro to Monterey and fortunately everything stil works great with my RX6900 XT egpu.
So I am now using PR14 and at first it looked rock solid, but now I get crashes when working in the node editor. PR11 did also gave me these crashes so I hoped this was over now ...

Hi, with all these versions I'm a bit confused.

I am still on Big Sur (Intel with egpu RX 6900XT), so for me there is now only PR11.
If I upgrade to Monterey, I can use PR14 with C4D (R23) plugin?
And what's up with PR13?
Is it wise to upgrade now or better to keep my current setup?

Is it better to keep working with this combo, of would it be better to upgrade to Monterey and PR12?
Better safe than sorry, so no problem to keep my current setup. When is the time to upgrade?
