Re: Motion blur from camera inside fast moving vehicle
Thanks for the replies both - I've tried with just Transform Motion Blur and that has the same effect. Unfortunately I'm currently stuck with 2022.1.1-R2 for studio reasons - can't update Cinema to the latest and the R3 doesn't run with anything but the latest Cinema2023. Frustrating as maybe that's ...

Motion blur from camera inside fast moving vehicle
Hi - hope someone can help. I've got a moving car with a camera inside, rendering PathTracing with motion blur on. The camera is a child of the car, so the car shouldn't have motion blur.
Car has an Octane object tag, motion blur set to Transform/vertex.
The background motion blur is correct, but ...

Re: Artefacts visible in overlapping volumes
Great stuff, thanks for the advice I'll give it a go.bepeg4d wrote:The core devs are working on improvements for this issue, in the meantime, try to use the new Standard Volume medium node, instead of the classic Volume medium node.

Artefacts visible in overlapping volumes
Hiya -- got a project with some overlapping smoke sims to render (sims from Houdini, rendering in Cinema). The trouble is that the bounding boxes of the volumes are visible where they overlap, like this:

Repeatable crash, spline interpolation, S24
Hi - I'm having trouble with a repeatable crash when changing the spline interpolation points on a particle trail, S24. The trail is rendered as hair using the Octane object tag.
With no intermediate points, the trail is jagged and sharp, but renders fine:
