I'm unable to use the "Show Color Picker" function in the live viewer window. It's almost like it's there, I just can't see it. Any tips or things to try? Thanks!

Re: C4D Deformers breaking Motion Blur
Thanks jayroth2020 and aoktar, you guys were quick and awesome. Yes, the problem was using displacement in addition to a bend deformer, totally user error on my part. I ended up turning off the displacement for this shot and the motion blur errors were fixed. Thank you both!

C4D Deformers breaking Motion Blur
Hello all,
We have an issue with Cinema4D Deformers (Bend Deformer) while using Motion Blur. It seems that even with Tranform/Vertex selected in the Octane Tag, the Motion Blur still won't calculate properly. See the image attached...
Has anyone dealt with this? Any work arounds or advice? Thanks ...

Re: XParticle motion blur/ increasing render times
Hi all,
We're having this same issue. Using Motion Blur and XParticles makes every frame increase in render time. Our work around is manually rendering 10 frames at a time. Not ideal.
Octane 2020.2.5 with C4D 24
Anyone have a better work around?
Cheers!
Ronny

Re: ERR: failed load data array
I’ve changed all greyscale images to be “Float” instead of “Normal” and that seems to have fixed it. I also switched all greyscale images to RGB in photoshop, but this was most likely unnecessary.

ERR: failed load data array
anyone ever get this error?
ERR:the following error occurred while reading a binary blob: failed load data array
I can open this file on my laptop, but it crashes my desktop. Anything I can do to fix it?

Re: Clients crash / network rendering
Beppe,
I've made a change that seems to "fix" the issue. If I save using the built in Cinema4D field, instead of using Octane's Render Passes option, everything is rendering just fine.
I use to save everything through Octane's Render Passes tab, turning on the Save Beauty checkbox. But now that I ...

Re: Clients crash / network rendering
Thank you for your time and attention Beppe. Unfortunately the render never crashes, so I cannot give you logs. The render just stalls on a random frame and continues to render. I've let it go for 8 hours and it's still on frame 6. Is there a way to generate a log even if the program does not crash ...

Re: Clients crash / network rendering
Hi all,
I’ve been having this issue as well so I’m bumping this thread. Has anyone figured out why Render Queue in C4D crashes when using Network Rendering? It’s very frustrating. I can only use my main machine for Render Queue jobs, resulting in my other computers just sitting idle.
