I'm bumping this question from the demo version forum since it still applies to the latest bundled version of BlenderOctane. I encounter this issue in Linux. Shader updating between animation frames is also very lengthy.

I think I found a way to reproduce the steps.

1. Create two point lights and a plane (I set mine to roughness=1)
2. Set the Light Geometry to Disc (I didn't test any other)

On the environment tab, the default medium light pass mask value is 2^24-1=4194303, but the Slider/Input box only allows values up to 100000.

Could the maximum value of the field be increased so that we can specify a correct value for the mask value ?

About the texture animation rework, you should add in the documentation that for being to be able to see the keyframes in the timeline, the "Other" keyframe type must be selected (see attachment)

This is good news! I did some water animation before but the graph editor included in the NGE was quite cumbersome to use. At least we now have a consistent way of doing it, even if the DAZ Studio timeline has its share of flaws.
