Re: NEW : OctaneRender for Blender released!

A real breakthrough in Octane usability for Blender users! ;) A huge thanks for that step!

But I would like to ask, like some others here - WILL THERE BE A LINUX VERSION IN THE FUTURE?

Thanks and have a nice day everyone!

Re: Preview of OctaneRender for Blender

Great news!!! :D I had no hope for this already. It will move Octane to the whole new level for Blender users and I'm sure I'll be using Octane much more often with such integration. I'll definitely buy this plug-in once released.

Re: NEW: OctaneRender 1.0 available

Congratulations for the release!

But as "Sdados" mentioned I'm also very disappointed, that Blender is not supported anymore. But what made me even more disappointed is another unkept promise - lack of support for RIB format. That's really sad.

Anyway I hope, that I'll find ways around all ...

And some rather quicker pictures from today. I still keep playing with my wasps. :)

PS: And yeah, I forgot to mention, that all models and textures are solely my work.

Re: New Year's open themed still image competition (OPEN)

Hi again!

Nice to see such a collection of good work here! That will give tough decision-making to judges, but make them happy in the same time, I believe. ;)

Here are some of my renders of "wasp" scenes. I struggled with some technical difficulties while work (http://www.refractivesoftware.com ...

Re: New Year's open themed still image competition (OPEN)

Hello everyone!

My name is Milos Zajic, I'm from Czechia. Here is my first contribution to the competition. I used my old model from another competition (Blending Life - two yeas ago). This is just my cheap attempt, because it was too easy to open that dusty file and give it a go. ;)

I just wanted ...

Re: Lovely licence question

Now, after I purchased the licence I see clearly that there is no problem to change the OS later. But before it was not so clear.

Regards to all with the same question. ;)

PS: Octane is really amazing!

Re: Lovely licence question

OK. Thanks, Radiance, for your answer! I'll take it like "YES, no problem to transfer your licence to Linux later", even that it haven't been said too directly. :|

I don't really want to be annoying pedant, but it's just some bad experience with something being just adumbrated and said not clearly ...

Re: Lovely licence question

Yes! That appears logical. But one needs to be sure. ;) I know I will need that transfer once.

I've tried to find that answer before posting here, but didn't find anywhere. And if I see the "buy now" area, there is choice for OS right there, i.e. before you really buy.

Re: Lovely licence question

OK. But this case is about software environment. Does it apply to OS too?
