Good start my friend. Couple thoughts:
Make sure you set the time of day so that you'll get some shadows on the building. Shadow can be a nice compositional tool and create contrast.
Spend more time on creating your material, add specular/gloss/bump maps.

Re: Region Render / Vertical Shift / Material Override
Hey Thanks guys. I previously played with the lens shift but it doesnt preview in the viewport so I ignored it - genius
I'm working in 3ds max so no render nodes. I usually save the project as a separate file for material overpasses but it's kind of a pain...

Region Render / Vertical Shift / Material Override
Couple of really useful improvements for my workflow:
-Region Render
-Vertical shift for the camera (to create 2-point perspective)
-Global Material override (quick AO pass etc.)

Re: green village
Also, where do you get your soundtrack from? It's really great.I always find it really hard to get good royalty free music.

Re: green village
Really nice and clean work (except the material of the airplane in the play-room popping
). It's always nice to see the really high-end commercial work done with octane. I would also be curious about render-times/settings.
Well done.
