Yes, I use FPP and RailClone for my everyday workflow, so I think we need full support of all features available.
P.D: Let´s wish Karba to get well soon, and enjoy the Holidays too.

Corona proxies as a workaround
Hi,
I've been using proxies made with Corona A6 in Octane 2.0 to avoid dealing with enormous scene files. It works really well as a temporary workaround while Octane gets its own proxy system.
Now Corona A7 is out and I'd like to know if anyone has tried to install it and checked if proxies are ...

Re: OctaneBench poll
:D Thank you very much! :D
I´m really happy and I´d like to thank OTOY and all the people who have voted in the poll... and of course, I would like to congratulate all the other competitors for their effort, and specially the other two winners... the quality of your scenes is awesome, well done ...

Hi Gabriele, thank you very much for sharing your research with us. I was waiting for any good comparison between the best GPU renderers.
Have you got any comparison using an interior scene? Maybe with some ies lights? That would be really helpful I think. Thanks
BTW, I notice that you wrote ...

Re: Arion 2.5.0 is out any news about Octane update ?
Very interesting thread.
I agree, the list is awesome, and I would "kill" to have some of that features, but my doubt with Arion (or Thea, Indigo, etc.) is always the same, you may be able to render an interior with cool features, as "bidirectional PT + MLT" or whatever, but It renders so slowly ...

Thank you very much Tom!
Have a nice time in AD4. I would have loved to go this year but I´m involved in a big project and is impossible for me.... maybe next year.
Best
Julio

Re: The Octane Bench competition / I have an IDEA
Hey mates,
I had some time to work on this idea and I´ve totally redesigned the bulb to make it way more "vintage", then put it on a old wood base.
Maybe you could tell me which of both designs you like the most.
The image is rendered in 70-80sec and with PT 7. Hope you like it.
Best
Julio

Re: The Octane Bench competition / I have an IDEA
Hey,
I´m attaching a new preview of the Bulb concept. I´ve added the switch and some new textures, to give the scene a more "old and vintage" look... what do you guys think of it?
Thank you
