Classroom scene

I optimised and enhanced the Classroom scene that was provided by face to test the Octane4Soft plugin and because it's christmas time I thought it would be a good idea to share this scene:

Nobody can foresee how well Octane will perform on Kepler cards in the future, because CUDA 5 isn't out yet.
As a customer I would buy GTX 5x0 now, because they give you the best bang for the buck and are reliable. Around end of this year the situation will be much clearer and the prices for GTX 6x0 ...

The instancing renderings look very promising.
It seems that things are heading in the right direction. With instancing + CUDA 5 + integrated plugins there is a good chance, that Octane will just blow away most other ...

There are 2 Tesla models - the K10 with 2x GK104 (available soon) and the K20 with 1x GK110 (available Q4 2012).
The interesting thing is, that Nvidia uses the "gaming chip" GK104 also ...
