Re: Animations
I mainly use Artlantis to create walk-through architectural animations. I was wondering if Octane Render 1.0 now has a built feature to do walk-throughs?
The new (still in development) ArchiCAD plugin will render walkthru's (flythru's) directly to Octane. http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php ...

Re: Animations
kavorka, thanks for your reply.
I was hoping that Octane would have a built in animation tool. Sadly I don't know blender. All of the modeling
that I do is all in ArchiCAD and then export to Artlantis to create animations. I was hoping to upgrade to a different
rendering program because Artlantis ...

Re: Artlantis export camera path
Thanks for the reply. I have been waiting for someone to help me with any info.
I haven't tried going from archicad > artlantis > sketchup > octane. In order to
export it from sketchup to Octane do you need the SketchUP pro or will the free
one suffice?
Also have you tried whether you can ...

Re: Artlantis export camera path
If Octane render does not support the exportation of a camera path from Artlantis can you still create a fly-through in Octane? My apologies if the answer
is in a tutorial video on youtube have not had much time available to go through all of them. Thanks.

Re: Artlantis export camera path
Necko77,
Thanks for your reply. I have read on the forums models created in archicad to export to blender via 3ds file format, then to Octane.
The reason I went the route of Artlantis is because I have a huge library of objects in Artlantis to use in my architectural
models to give that more ...

Artlantis export camera path
I know that there are plug ins for several programs to export your camera (flythrough) to Octane. Is there anyway
to export a camera path created in Artlantis to Octane?
Side question can Octane make moving water in an animation like Artlantis?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Exporting Procedure
Thanks for the reply. Currently I have 16gb ddr3 1600 mhz corsair ram plus the 1024 mb of vram on the gpu.
I would like to send the file to your team to decipher the issue to finalize my decision of purchasing Octane,
I am impressed with the result it's capable of out putting.

Re: Exporting Procedure
So I managed to open the file that I had posted. I don't know in which manner you opened the file in Octane.
If I try to open any obj file directly by clicking on it and saying open with. Octane will start up and then say
file error but still remain open this is including the files you have on your ...
