Thanks Elsksa!
I have been able to create the effect using OctaneX Enterprise for C4D (PR11 for MacOS Big Sur (Metal))
The effect isn't as dramatic as I had hoped. And, as you say, compute intensive. It is hard to see the effect in the attached image but I can see it on my system. Very faint ...

Reflected Light and Scattering
Is there a way to have light that has been reflected from a surface to be scattered when the light and surface are in an Octane For Volume?
Thanks,

Re: Noise in Final Render but Not In Live Viewer
Beppe,
Yes, I didn’t realize a few things. To enable multi-pass and check denoised beauty.
Then I see the denoised in the window and it is saved.
Thanks ,
Greg

Noise in Final Render but Not In Live Viewer
]Hi,
I am trying to get rid of some caustic noise in a render. The denoiser in the live viewer does a great job but somehow the noise isn't being removed from the final render. I have tried many things. There are two images attached. Just a simple scene from a Otoy tutorial on getting started using ...

Re: OctaneX for Maya 10pr7-18.21 (Big Sur) [BETA]
I installed the Enterprise version and loaded a scene from the Maya tutorials. I have three gpus, two external and one internal (actually two internal but I know OctaneX doesn't support the UHD Graphics 630). The two external GPUs are a Radeon Pro WX 9100 and a Radeon RX Vega 56 and the internal gpu ...

BK,
Thanks. That version seems much more stable. Any idea when the Enterprise version will be available? I have an Enterprise license. And I would like to do some tests with all my GPUs.
Thanks,
Greg

Support for FBX and DAE Export
When I use Octane materials I cannot export a mesh with them. The exporter replaces them with a gray lambert.
Will there be support for exporting FBX and DAE formats in the Maya exporter? Maybe similar to the Octane-alembic option?
If there is a workaround now, please let me know. I like working ...
