Re: Unbiased Rendering and the Endless Battle with Noise

plus, it's worth mentioning the usual car render seems to be quite forgiving in terms of noise. by usual i mean a car on a plane, lit by an hdri. (i guess that's why most of the tech-demos of render engines sport a car render at one point or another...).

Re: Will SSD Drive speed up meshing / importing significiantly?

@jaberwocky: as i understand there is no possibility to combine an ssd raid with a conventional hdd in the same system, as of yet. raid hdd + ssd works just fine. raid ssd on its own as well. but that wouldn't be a practical set up i think.
plus i believe there's a 750 MB/s speed limit. but don't ...

Re: My first animation

both. although in the "installation animation" it's less apparent as you often cut within the movement.

i think what most people struggle with when it comes to easy ease ins and easy ease outs is that they alter the length of a shot OR it's overall speed. for instance, if you'd introduce and easy ...

Re: My first animation

hey rehan,

what struck me first and foremost was that your camera movements stop abruptly - instead of ease in and out. especially since the rest of your camera movement is smooth and slow.

Re: 2.44 Material Connection Problem after re-exporting OBJ file

Again, never ever just change the OBJ/MTL files of an already existing OCS file and expect the OCS file to load correctly, after you have done the change.

so, if i read this correctly, until said issue gets fixed, we can only use the "export obj/mtl only" command if we're not introducing new ...
