Ray depth in shader workflow?

I'd like to be able to drive shaders with ray depth as well as ray type.
Is this possible with Octane's core?
From my research into OSL it is not possible.

Maybe there is another solution but the scenario I'm in is trying to rendering a tequilla bottle that has lots of lighting around it ...

Thanks for the reply SSmolak. I was using 2023.1.2 and had no luck.

Obviously it would really amazing if this feature worked more consistently.

Shape field working?

It's been a while since I've seen a post about the shape field node and wanted to see if anyone was having luck with it?

Currently trying to make an SDF with an Octane Object tag set to Mesh to SDF. I then use that SDF as the input for the shape field.

Object display color error while using medium

I notices strange visual artifacts while using Display Color layer node pipped into the albedo of a random walk medium and regular scattering medium nodes.
Using Octane 2022.1.1 R5

The behavior changes when what's directly behind the object gets turned off and we can see through to alpha as well ...

I would be interested in the ability to "focus" a lights projection along a continuum. Currently light is emitted fundamentally in all directions from the normal (as real lights do) if I understand correctly.

But what if we could weight the ray direction based on surface normal 0=multidirectional ...

I was able to comfortably install 3x 4090 hybrids into the 7000d Airflow Full tower case

I'm trying to find a suitable E-ATX case to house two 4090 hybrid GPUs that have 2x120mm radiators each.
My main concern is finding a case that has open fan bays close enough to the PCIE slots so the hybrid radiators can mount. I've run into issues before where the loop tubing isn't long enough to ...
