What is the status of the stable version? It is almost a month since this 'we can get the stable version out next week' version and 8 months since the announcement of octane 4.

For V4 permanent licenses, there will be no price change relative to V3 when you are buying Octane as a new user. There is no upgrade fee for current V3 users moving to V4.
Once V4 is stable we are going to add USB offline dongles on the shop page for accessing the new offline mode in V4, and ...

If you want up-front hi-res i use displacement deformer in c4d with the Quixel image and put normal map on. Works purrfectly

There is no "scale" in medium node ? Just density ? Does it work the same way ? Cant reproduce some materials now .

Installed on 2 machines. On my home PC for Octane - 0 problems, win 10 install 30 minutes, fast & furious, all works like a charm. Installed win 10 on Lenovo mobile workstation.... needed to go back to win7 very fast. Constant lags/crashes/restart taking eons (20min for restart) and bluescreens.
