Re: Poisson disk sampling does nothing
Sorry, forget that.
After some experimentation I worked out that poisson disk sampling just stops scattered objects from overlapping each other which is handy but not what I was after.
I needed to scatter objects without them being next to an identical one, so you wouldn't get a clump of the same ...

Poisson disk sampling does nothing
Has something happened to this function please?
Tried ticking and unticking, rebuilding scene etc. The poisson thing doesn't seem to do anything to the distribution.
Also, is it possible to have more than 4 scatter objects. Trying to make a brick wall and think I need about 10 different bricks to ...

After months of doom and despair, I appear to have Octane working properly again.
Not sure what fixed the issues but I did 3 things yesterday;
1. Got rid of a load of crap from my ssd as it was pretty full. There's now about 50Gb free on it rather than20Gb
2. Set the windows pagefile to ...

Any ideas?

Re: Background image support, screen mapping. Where is it?
Sounds great, thanks! Did you mean version 2024?
Had a look at the info for 2024 and it looks great, particularly the more efficient memory use as I'm still having issues with parallel samples/2 cards/running out of Vram. Hopefully this will be sorted.
Did you get a chance to check the bloom ...

Re: Background image support, screen mapping. Where is it?
Hi Neon. Thanks for that.
Do you think we should be using AOVs rather than the post processing of the camera?
Almost there but a couple of issues...
I can't find a way to put transforms on the background image. Is there no way to change the position/scale/rotation as you can normally with images ...
