every time i set up a viewport render certain parts of my model are always black. in the viewport they're all rendered in. no files are missing. any way to fix this?

Does anyone know how to get octane installed properly when it will not show up? I have both versions 1.4 R3 and R2 downloaded and tried to install both versions but they do not show up when I add the plugins to the plugins folder and preferences folder. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I currently have a soft body cage setup with a mesh deformer but is there any way to apply motion blur to the objects with the mess deformer since technically, they're not moving?
