I've used G2 in Poser & yes it slows to a crawl.My wierdness happens when converting 1 light or multiple(to emitters)with the Octane script.Poser just sits there thinking for ever till I restart it.

I had indeed d/loaded the commercial version it appears but back in early December.After removing the extra addons folder the demo is working as it should.Thankyou to yourself & the team there for all your excellent help.

Hi Chris & thanks for the reply.I should have mentioned that this is the demo i'm trying to evaluate before deciding on purchase.I cannot proceed any further than the mentioned screen tho' to evaluate.No tabs will allow anything other than their selection.

Hi Tug,
The Daz Skin shader,is it the 1 from the live DB?If so I cannot import it into Octane.Most other shaders will work ok but am I missing something?
Help on this would be greatly appreciated as I am still trying to be able to set up shaders in Octane.

Thanks Tug for a swift reply.It's 64bit but after the 3rd attempt is working fine.Different scene(only 1 V4) & the only things changed was I ramped up the samples per pixel to 30000.Previously tried at 1000.Operator error maybe.

On trial Tug,the scene with textures exports fine + Octane opens.After the voxel stage & before any hint of a render picture,it crashes back to DS4.
Any help or ideas much appreciated.More than likely operator error somewhere but....
