I assume you're referring to the Octane log that you launch from the Kernel type slider?
If it is that one I opened it and it doesn't record any error...
EDIT:
The version I had previously installed was 1.13, not 1.17, sorry for the confusion.

Re: 3DsMax Plugin 1.2, no fixed bugs
Well, basically it's exactly like if I was still under 1.17 plug-in version...

3DsMax Plugin 1.2, no fixed bugs
As mentionned in my previous post I just moved to 1.20 SA / 1.2 PI, doing a clean installation: uninstallation of previous SA version, deleting all 3Ds Max files, installation of 1.20 SA and copying 1.2 PI files in my Max folders.

Uninstall / Re-install - License issue?
It might sound dumb but I want to make sure I wont get stuck without Octane over the week end as I intend to play with it...
I expected the 1.20 SA / 1.2 3DsMax plug-in to overwrite the version I installed when I purchased Octane for the first time, but it didn't, I'm still under 1.18...(I just ...

Octane test scene II
I expected to render more views of this scene and to add more details, playing around with some different lighting sets, but being bumping around in an hectic serial of business trips I had very few time to work on the renders.
The result is that I just got fed up of it altogether, I've just seen ...

Re: Cantina
I tend to agree with Vernon, the main issue with these renders is that all the rough surfaces (bricks, stone, etc...) look super fake.
If the poly count allow it you could make a Hi-Res displacement map, displace the wall geometry, and then texture it with a lower res map with a decently detailed ...

Re: Living room HELP!!!!
Mixing 2 renders is one way to do it but IMHO it is the longest (it doubles the renders and add post processing time), 3D work allows to use tricks like deleting walls, etc...
Because Octane is unbiased it actually makes some parts of the work harder and also things like not being able to use HDRI ...
