Interesting and perplexing development:
After the last message, I figured I'd just let the renders go given that I have a deadline and getting them done slower that I'd hoped wasn't the end of the world.
I checked on the progress this morning and was surprised to see that it was now taking ~45 ...

Re: Odd delay before save
Help->kit version-> displays OctaneRender version 2019.1.4.155 on the faster machine and 2019.1.4.154 on the slower one.
I should probably update the slower one to 155.

Re: Odd delay before save
Both machines are running OctaneRender Studio 2019.1.4 (6000400)
I do see that the Nvidia driver is different between the machines. The two card machine that has been seeing better performance has GeForce RTX 2080 Ti version 441.66, and the one that is taking longer has 442.19.

Odd delay before save
I'm seeing a bit of odd behavior that I'm having trouble understanding. I have two machines set up to render in Octane. One has two Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti cards, and the other has three of the same card.
Both machines are rendering different cameras in the same scene, so I wouldn't expect the render ...

Re: support for UV transforms
Thanks for the correction! I had noticed that some of my projects that had been set up for the built in renderer had the textures in the wrong place when rendered in Octane, so I mistakenly assumed that all of the UV transform parameters were being ignored. I do use the UV offset parameters a lot ...

support for UV transforms
There is a feature not supported by the 'on the fly' scene translation that would be really nice to get implemented. That's the 'projection parameters' in the texture locator attached to a texture.
Specifically, Octane ignores the U and V tile offset parameters, the horizontal and vertical wrap ...

Re: Added light not rendering
OK, figured out that Modo spotlights and distant lights are not supported in Octane.

Added light not rendering
New to Octane, please forgive my ignorance. I do love the ease of use of the 'on the fly' scene translation that lets me render in Octane without having to do a deep dive into all of the inner workings of Octane, and I can learn it gradually.

Re: Multi Layer EXR
Please forgive the noob question, I'm new to Octane. How do I enable rendering to layered exr?
