Hi juanjgon, thanks for your reply. OK, I got it. It is OK anyway, because using the video editor Lightworks all the sequence comes as one footing, and the quality of Octane is really superior. Congratulations for the superb job with the plugin.
Best regards,
Ton

Re: Render animation
Hi juanjgon, thanks again for the reply. I noticed that when I try to save the animation in the Output tab in Render Globals, Lightwave crashes. I have updated the plugin, but still crashes Lightwave when it is going to the second frame. Then I saved a sequence of images in the "Save RGB" instead ...

Re: Render animation
Hi juanjgon. Thank you for your rapid reply. I have already downloaded the 2.6.1 plugin and will check if it works, eventhough I think is something with my setup, maybe I could send you the file? I just did not understand when you said "The only issue is that Octane only support the single range ...

Render animation
Hi, I am using Lightwave 11.6.3 and Octane for Lightwave 2.0.10. I haven't done any animation render up to now. I am trying to render an animation, but I think I must be doing something wrong. I setup for Octane and when I press F10 to render, it renders like one frame and them it crashes. And ...

Re: Fireflies
Hi, just posting a test render, 30 minutes more or less, with the directions of alexo. Changed some setups as aperture 0.25, 25% hot pixel visibility, etc...used pathtracing 32 depth for diffuse and glossy. Thanks for the advise.

Re: Fireflies
Hi alexos. Thank you for the tips. In this scene I am using sunlight, and that is true I left most of the parameters at default value. I will play more with some setings as you mentioned.
Thanks,
Ton

Fireflies
Hi. I am a Lightwave user and an archviz artist. I have been using the Octane Lightwave plugin for a while now, I think since it started. Most of projects that I use the plugin is for external shots due to the instancing feature. Internally is really hard to manage the fireflies. I hoped that with ...

Re: Video cards
Hi Jaberwock. Thank you for your reply. Ok, I will give it a try, and it was clarifing because I first installed the ATi driver and after the Nvidias. Now that I have Octane working on the Nvidia I will reinstall the ATi.
