Yes it will come, can't promise a timeline yet though, but we've wanted to polish some of the existing Octane Houdini stuff first (QoL stuff), before spending time adding new features.

Is the "Rest Position" attribute supported in the Octane Solaris? If yes, How to activate it?

Just two notes:
1) The Decal object has Transform parameters, but the Transform Handle is missing in the viewport
2) It would be better if the "Snapshot to Mplay" button actually snaps the selected active AOV instead of always snapping the Beauty pass

Can anyone explain how to make the rest attribute work in houdini? Activating the new "use rest attribute" does nothing with a valid rest attribute and valid uv attribute. Forcing the rest import in the point attribute does nothing either. I'm just testing in a simple emission texture, and the ...

Snapshot to MPlay The Selected Render AOV
Hello,
I want to suggest that the "Snapshot to MPlay" button, actually snapshots the selected AOV from Octane IPR AOVs menu.
Because at the moment, no matter what AOV the user is viewing in Octane IPR, when the user hits the button it always snapshots the beauty pass.
