Hi.
I have a question to the Octane Developer Team. Why is it the development of the 3ds max plugin is going so slow.
3ds Max is maybe the most used software for 3d viz around the world.
I can see many that of the wishes to the plugin from page 1 of this thread, should be implemented long time ...

I also would like the same control with the 3d mouse as in 3ds max.
I think it is very difficult to use the 3d mouse in Octane.

Converting an scene from 3dsmax/Vray to Octane
Hi.
I have a scene I have tried to convert to Octane from vray.
I have the following items in the scene.
- Vray proxies
- Forest pack pro
- Offcourse vray materials.
- Color correct script on some materials
What will do with Octane and what will not.?
Maybe some good advices from you ...

That makes it really hard navigating your scene doesn't it.?
I have loaded a pretty large scene from obj. maybe 1 square kilometers. How do I navigate in this scene quickly.
Anyone has some good settings for the space navigator (3d connexion). My mouse seem to behave rather strange..

I am new to Octane. And I would like to know if the program doesn't have different viewports so it is possible to see your scene from the top (side, front etc.).?

I have just bought the plugin for 3ds max. They write that I haft to have a regular version of octane for windows installed on the computer to get the plugin to work.
Is this correct, or not necessary anymore.?
