Has something changed in the ACES workflow in the 2025 octane/c4d versions? Nothing seems to work
I've been using ACES countless of times in Octane for the past couple of years. I haven't been rendering lately and after installing the new cinema4d + new octane, I keep getting washed out results. I've gone down the ACES rabbit hole so many times that I'm completely at a loss here, everything I ...

Ok this is the third time I'm writing this comment, I don't know why I keep getting logged out everytime I press "submit"
First off thank you Aoktar!
My issue is that whenever I drag an image file from the file explorer onto an ImageTexture node it doesn't replace the image file in it, it just ...

Anisotropy masking?
Hey! Is there a way to plug a texture map to the Anisotropy channel somehow? (Not to the Rotation, to the Anisotropy)
I have a mesh that's brushed metal with some parts that are painted, and I need to only apply the anisotropy to a certain part of the mesh, anyway to do that?
Thanks!

Re: "Custom Value" nodes, how to use them? No info in manual
Thanks for replying jayroth
So that's what I would imagine, however, they just don't plug into any other nodes.
Most of these exist in their blue form as "Custom Textures" (Different float nodes, Range, Binary/Unary etc), and I can definitely understand and actually am able to use the Custom ...

"Custom Value" nodes, how to use them? No info in manual
I'm trying to find information about the purple Custom Value nodes. I've looked through and through in the manual and that whole section seems to be missing.
Tried to use these nodes but they don't seem to be able to plug into *anything*. A complete mystery to a fool like me.
Anyone can shed some ...
