Jaberwocky wrote:probably the answer with the demo version would be to render each frame, pause the render.
use the screen snipping tool in windows 7,save the frames individually and then compile them into the film shown using other software.
Heh. This is 40 sec. video. At least 1000 frames :)

Too dark. You can use radioactive waste to lighten this fish.

2 versions. a drop of water - haven't maybe got the lighting quite how I want it, but not sure I'm changing anything.

one has a surface disruption with bump map, the other doesn't.
I like 2nd version.
For the last one -it looks weird. More like quicksilver than water.

Re: House interior - From Scratch

I'm not authorized to view that forum. I am running the demo version of Octane. Could you copy paste its contents please.

Re: House interior - From Scratch

Interesting techniqe. Good for training.

About light. I think it is too sharp. It would look better with some diffusion but octan didn't like it.
Try some dfferent glass in windows.

Don't forget that if I break something important you still can roll back to a previous ...

Re: Bedroom

Play with sun. I think it is too dark inside. Mayby add glass to windows(reflections make it more interesting). Work with materials(more glossy?)
And test it. Octane offers quick renders so you can do a lot of previews.
