Using Octane in Unity with RTX

Octane 4 was said to be "available for free (with a 2 GPU limit) inside Unity". I have a RTX 2080 and had since tried to run it but without much luck, it simply doesn't acknowledge my board. It does if I use the standalone V4, but since I don't have a license for it, I'm stuck.

Can someone help me?

Re: Preview of OctaneRender for Cinema 4D

It makes sense, after all had I know I might as well waited for such a plugin, but could you please explain me what the use I have for standalone once I buy the cinema integrated one? And since all octane is heading that way the standalone pretty much looses its value, so the solution I have is to ...

Re: Preview of OctaneRender for Cinema 4D

It was not my intention, my concern is that the plugin which currently makes the bridge between Octane and Cinema ceases development, it's my concern because it's after all the option I rely on for Octane, and it was never on the table in the moment I'd acquired it. If I buy Octane for Cinema 4D ...

I used a mesh light outside window. 5 cm radius sphere with blackbody emission for simulating sun.

AO distance is 3
A disk ought to be enough. Quite a good render :)

Re: Fake Sun Interior Test

Why do you think that blue is bad? When I was studying I used mental ray mr sky to simulate the glow of the sky. Excessive blue in direct picking can be neutralized in a film camera.

This render with the sun. I think this light quite nice and there is no excessive blue. Isn't true?

Re: Octane render for interior design / decoration

17 readers and no answer ? :-( for my experience Octane for Max (you need 3ds Max) is the best rendering engine (plugin) on the planet.
Those are quite unrealistic words you have here sir, namely when you have known VRAY. PT isn't cuted for interiors and Octane uses it. You may say that Octane has ...
