Hey there!
I wanted to ask if there is any reason, why the free tier for Linux isn't updated to 2023 yet?
Thanks,
Johannes

Octane 2023 Beta 3 Linux wrong Download-File
Hey,
I just wanted to say, that the OctaneBlender Download for Linux links to octane_blender_2022.1.2-27.17 and not to 2023 Beta 3
Cheers,
Johannes

Re: Octane 2023.01 Beta 1 - changing Kernel has no effect
At the moment you can change kernel in render settings panel.
I'm not sure if you are running Windows and that might work for you because of that.

Octane 2023.01 Beta 1 - changing Kernel has no effect
Changing the render kernels via the new node system has no effect at all on my system. Not in the viewport, nor in final rendering.
My System:
PopOS 22.04
Nvidia RTX 2080ti (driver 535.86.35)
48GB RAM
OctaneBlender 2023.01 beta1 28.0

Random Value per object
Hey there!
After quite some research and trial and error I wonder, if there is a way in OctaneBlender to assign a random value or color per object in the Octane Shader Graph. I found some examples working with instances. However I need to manually arrange bricks to a specific shape and I'd like to ...

Hi there!
I just switched from Windows to Linux (PopOS 20.04) recently.
I had some trouble with Licenses and the Unlocking for the Free Tier of Octane Blender Edition.
I after installing the Server and OctaneBlender i was able to use Octane for that session. Since i restarted the Computer, it is ...

Re: OctaneRender™ 2019 for Blender® 2.8 - new free tier!
Hey!
Thanks for this great Renderer! For me it works quite well, but the viewport renders look much brighter than final renders(as if viewport always uses direct light, even if i switch to path tracing). That makes it kind of difficult to find the right lighting for a scene.
Cheers,
Johannes
