Phillipe,
I'll have Cubix Technical Support contact you this morning my time. You should not be experiencing the conditions you are describing.

Re: Question to those with xpanders...
One of the items on Cubix's "to-do" list is a next-gen deskside unit, and we'll be taking a look at height and width specs.
First thing is to finish development of, and begin production on the 19" rackmount Xpanders, and "XpanderBlade" (workstation with lots of PCIe slots).

Same as current model, but with a clear, acrylic cover on top.

Re: Question to those with xpanders...
I would love to have one of those. I would even be willing to buy the top cover as a upgrade.

Re: Question to those with xpanders...
No, but I'll try talking Engineering into hooking it up today, and I'll see if I can get some quality shots loaded up on this page and at cubixgpu.com. We'll let the artists decide whether or not to offer it as an option!

Re: Question to those with xpanders...
I am hoping that cubix release the special version they made for Siggraph as it looks awesome. We'll get some photos of it u and the rest of the booth in a day or so. Wait till you see what we're going to do at NVIDIA GTC next month... :D (and yes, I did get in touch with Jeremy, and his order is ...

Re: Cubix GPU-Expander for Octane Render
Cubix has had 10 GPUs running Octane Render on one workstation. The limitation is more OS-related than NVIDIA related, in my opinion.i thought the current nvidia drivers have an upper limit of 8 gpus that can be seen by the system is this true ?

Re: Octane Render at siggraph 2010
I think Haven Sole would agree that while Wednesday was the busiest day, Thursday was what had us saying "We're going to need a much bigger booth next year in Vancouver". (Radiance had better be there with us next year!) The companies that came by to see us were, to put it mildly, mind-blowing ...

Re: Octane Render at siggraph 2010
Oh, and the question I heard the most during all of Siggraph was "Are you Radiance?" or "Is Radiance here?" Even by people who aren't users yet, so Octane, and especially Radiance, is getting the word out there. I can vouch for this as well. Alot of people I spoke with at SIGGRAPH were very ...

Re: Cubix GPU-Expander for Octane Render
FYI - Cubix is now shipping a PCIe 2.0, 16-channel version of the GPU-Xpander....starting at $1995 (no NVIDIA content) Keep in mind most current Octane Render users will be happy with the performance from the x8 and x1 channel versions which have already been shipping for the past 2 months. However ...
