Render times
OK so a scene that takes 8 mins to fully render in octane viewer with PT is taking over an hour to render in C4D picture viewer.
I'm using forester but the viewport and render settings are exactly the same and I'm not overwriting the kernal settings of octane. In DL they're exactly the same times ...

Re: Live DB and displacements
Are you accessing LiveDB from an already saved scene?
If not, you have the behavior you have described, since the tex path cannot be generated.
ciao Beppe

Live DB and displacements
Is it possible to save a live DB material with a displacement?
I can't seem to get it to work, when I pull my material back into a new scene the diplacement maps and nodes are gone.
Any ideas?

Re: LiveDB in 4.05-R7 not loading anything at all?
What's your scene path and did you download after saving the scene? Having "assets/...." means that you downloaded material on untitled scene without project path
OK so had another look this morning. Yes if I save the scene and then load in the textures it does indeed load in the material's ...
