Indeed, that would be awesome to get more control of the shadow colors at all.
A option to control the color of the object shading themself would be awesome too.
I hope to find a work around with the shaders.

 Now the Out of Core function works great... 
From the first test: I managed to render a frame with 138.000.000 pixels in total.
Than it only worked with a maximum of 90.000.000 pixel in total. Same scene, i made one light off - the only change.
Tried rebooting system and render again - i can not ...

Unwanted Pixel part 2 - Here are another strange behaviour with displacement and touching objects.
The Alpha is generated from a File in the opacity channel of the shader.

Sorry for my late response!
Here you can see 2 issues: The mysterious Pixels that occur on boundries / edges when objects meet. And a loading failure...
In this test example the pixel failure show up without displacement - shaders taken from Live DB.

I used a TIFF sequence before. I changed all to PNG - now the random loading issue is gone. I guess PNG can be used better in the engine?

Running VERY good now on my system in the first test.
I managed to Render a size and resolution that was not possible before. Now i can render the big sizes i need for large format printing! Love u guys!

Hey thank you, I made a test to see if it appears in octane shader too - yes it does - I tried some shaders with alpha from the Live DB.
I will send some examples asap.

Hey,
some times i have crashes too :( and other mysterious issues randomly...
And sometimes it crashes in Standalone (2018-1-2) too, when i want to export a file.
I only made a reinstall and a restart - nothing else, than it starts to work better.
I do not know why...
Now i started to use octane ...
