New Nvidia update finally works with Octane!
Sorry, but no, it doesn't.

Just updated to 419.17 and get the following error, upon opening the render viewport:

21:18:46 ...

I didn't see that there is a DAZ Studio plugin update (4.02.1.44), the updated NVIDIA drivers do work with that installed.

Hmm, the 419.17 update doesn't seem to work for me (1080 Ti and DAZ Studio Plugin). It works when reverting back to 417.71
